Whats up everyone!!! My name is Brett Moore. I live in beautiful Oliver BC Canada where i train to ride FMX. If anyone has any questions about are bikes, gear and setup. Where we train or even tips on how you can land sponsors!. Hit me up and lets get a chat going!
Hey Brett, I got one for you. What's the scariest trick in your playbook and why? And what trick is next on your list to learn and how would you prepare for it off the bike?
MitchGeddes so far the scariest trick i have now is the seat grab, it took me quite a while to put all the steps together! My next trick im going to learn is double seat grabs, where i use both hands to grab the seat! To get ready for that I've been just doing core workouts as well as legs, was super scary trick to learn as it was the first trick i actually learned so i had to build up confidence on the ramp before even attempting it!!
Whats the best way to land sponsors? Is it worth filling out the forms when the companies ask for applicants?
Hey Martymotos! A great way to land sponsors to start is to share your riding on your social platforms no matter what level you’re at! Brands want to get riders on board who are active on social media and can provide value in content! Im sure Brett has some great tips too!

Hey Martymotos, Great question and it really depends what you are looking for and how much you can bring to the table. For most of those Sponsor Application forms come with a ambassador code that you would then share and have people purchase the product or service. From there you receive a commission on the sale, or maybe a different agreement. Point is they can track the business you bring in.
Problem with this method is if your doing a lot of promotion via word of mouth or not directly linking your promotion to the promo code then you could be getting them business that they are not giving you credit for.
