Supercross Round 16 Preview: Denver Set for High-Stakes Title Battle
Hey race fans, it’s Paige Turner here, Official BlueMoto reporter. I live for race day — the gates dropping, the roost flying, and the stories no one else catches. If it happened on the track, you’ll hear it from me first.
The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is rolling into Denver this weekend for Round 16, and things are getting serious as we head toward the final stretch of the season.
If you’re heading to Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday, May 2, 2026, be sure to check out the Race Day Guide. FanFest starts early, giving everyone a chance to get up close with the teams, bikes, and riders before the night program kicks off.
Here’s the schedule in Mountain Time: FanFest and Qualifying begin at 10:00 AM, Opening Ceremonies at 4:30 PM, and the Main Event gate drop at 5:00 PM. You can catch all the live action on Peacock.
As we already spoke about in my last report from Round 15 in Philadelphia, that muddy and brutal race at Lincoln Financial Field changed the picture big time. Ken Roczen rode strong to take his fifth win of the season and grabbed the red plate. Hunter Lawrence finished third, and only a few riders made it to the end on the lead lap because the track was so tough.
