Philadelphia Delivers Intense Racing as 250 East Title is Sealed
Hey everyone, it’s Paige Turner here — your Official BlueMoto reporter, living for those gate drops, the roost flying, and the stories that hit different when the track turns into a battlefield. And let me tell you, Round 15 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia was an absolute banger!
The 250 East main event kicked off with massive energy! Seth Hammaker grabbed the holeshot and looked flying early, but he cross-rutted hard in the first rhythm section on lap one and went down, plummeting all the way back to around 21st place. Cole Davies seized the moment instantly, storming into the lead on lap two. He even tipped over on lap three but bounced back up like a champ and kept the momentum rolling.
The excitement ramped up even more when a heavy crash triggered the red flag. Officials shortened the race and called for a staggered restart. When the gate dropped again, Davies nailed it perfectly and immediately took command at the front!
Daxton Bennick locked into second and held strong, while Seth Hammaker delivered an unbelievable charge from way back in the pack. The Pennsylvania hometown hero battled his heart out all the way to third place, but he needed second to keep the championship alive — it just wasn’t meant to be this time.
Cole Davies powered across the finish line first in style, winning by roughly 13 seconds over Daxton Bennick in second, with Seth Hammaker charging home in third after that heroic comeback. Rounding out the top ten were Coty Schock in fourth, Nate Thrasher in fifth, Devin Simonson in sixth, followed by Henry Miller, Derek Kelley, Gavin Towers, and Marshal Weltin.
And with that dominant performance, Davies locked up the 2026 250 East Divisional Championship with one round still to go! He arrived in Philly with a solid points lead and rode brilliantly to seal the deal and score his fifth win of the season.
This was pure racing drama at its finest — riders showing incredible composure and fight when it mattered most. Davies proved once again why he’s been the standout all year with that ice-cold focus under pressure.
The Philly crowd brought incredible energy, especially rallying behind the local riders, and fans were treated to an epic battle from start to finish. Now the series heads to the final round in Salt Lake City with the 250 East title already decided in spectacular fashion!
That’s the story from Philadelphia — gates dropped, roost flew, and another championship was won where it counts: right on the track!
Until next time, stay pinned and keep it on two wheels.
