Garcia Claims Double as Breakthrough Rides Mark Polisport GP of Spain
Yo enduro fans! This is Paige Turner, your official BlueMoto Reporter.
From the Friday night lights to the final flag in Oliana, Josep Garcia was unstoppable and completely owned the Polisport GP of Spain!
He set the tone by winning the Akrapovic Super Test under the lights, edging Brad Freeman by less than a second. Then the real battle began. Day 1 delivered pure enduro chaos — rain, treacherous mud, and that dramatic last-lap crash from Freeman that opened the door for Garcia’s thrilling home win. Day 2 was all about raw speed and total control, and Garcia delivered another masterclass, pulling away early and never looking back.
The Red Bull KTM rider leaves Spain with a perfect double in EnduroGP and Enduro1, right in front of his passionate home fans. Teammate Andrea Verona backed him up brilliantly, locking out the top two spots on Day 2.
We also witnessed some unforgettable breakthroughs: Hamish Macdonald’s epic charge from the floor to a career-best podium and E2 win on Day 1, and Albin Norrbin’s first senior E3 victory on Day 2. Steve Holcombe, Zach Pichon and the whole pack once again proved why this championship is so incredibly deep and competitive.
