FIM Hard Enduro World Championship Announces 2026 Calendar Adjustments
Hey race fam! Paige Turner here, absolutely buzzing with the latest from the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship!
The 2026 HEWC calendar just got a fresh update, and let me tell you — these changes are all about keeping the season strong, exciting, and ready for battle!
The headline news? The Italian round is moving! The Abestone Rodeo Miravalle, originally scheduled for July 10–12, has been shifted to September 4–6, 2026. And it’s coming back with a sharper, punchier name: Abestone Hard Enduro! Same killer location in Abetone, Tuscany — that rugged Val di Luce terrain we all love — same passionate local crew, and the same incredible regional support that makes this event special.
On the other side, the Wild Woods Extreme near Genoa, which was set for mid-September, has been taken off the 2026 calendar. The FIM pointed to circumstances beyond everyone’s control. Big thanks from the championship to the Genoa team for all their hard work — and fingers crossed we’ll see them back stronger in 2027!
Look, hard enduro is raw, unpredictable, and incredibly tough to plan perfectly — that’s what makes it so awesome. These smart adjustments help deliver the reliable, high-energy season riders and fans deserve.
The full 2026 calendar is still looking fire — nine rounds stretching from April all the way to October, hitting Europe, North America, and Africa. With Abestone now locked in for early September after the Swedish round, the second half of the season is shaping up to be an absolute banger!
I’m already counting down to those Tuscan mountains in September — the roost, the rocks, the pure hard enduro chaos… it’s going to be epic!
You know the drill — if it happens on the track, you’ll hear it from me first.
Let’s go! 🏁
