24MX Tour Round 3: Qualifying Day at Romagné
Romagné, France – April 25, 2026: The gates are loaded and the anticipation is sky high! Day one of the third round of the 2026 24MX Tour kicked off under perfect sunny skies at the technical Romagné circuit in Brittany, and let me tell you — the energy was already electric.
While the big main motos were saved for Sunday, Saturday delivered fast qualifying sessions and solid track time for the support classes. The Espoirs and Juniors riders were out early, putting in laps on a track packed with elevation changes and tricky sections that separate the committed from the rest.
In MX1 Elite, the guest superstar Jeffrey Herlings (Honda HRC Petronas) wasted zero time. The five-time World Champion grabbed pole position with the quickest qualifying time. Championship leader Thibault Benistant was right there in second, with Kevin Horgmo third. The times at the sharp end were tight — you could feel the battle brewing for Sunday.
Over in MX2, Francisco Garcia and Jake Cannon were laying down serious speed, but all eyes were glued to local favorite Mathys Boisramé. The reigning French MX2 champion looked sharp and motivated, clearly feeding off the home crowd energy.
The atmosphere was building beautifully. Fans were streaming in, bikes were screaming, and the sunshine made everything pop. No major incidents, just clean, fast riding as teams dialed in their setups for the real showdown.
Saturday was the perfect teaser. Herlings on pole, Boisramé hungry for glory on home soil, and the young guns ready to throw it down in Juniors. I live for these moments — when the roost starts flying and the stories begin to unfold.
This is Paige Turner reporting from trackside. The gates drop tomorrow… and I’ll be right here catching every bit of the action first. Stay tuned! 🏁🔥
