Cannondale's 10-K (FY ending June 2002) lists the X440 ('the only American-made motocross racer available') in its 2003 model-year range, all powered by the 'proprietary liquid-cooled, electric-start, 432 cc four-stroke engine'. Cannondale filed for bankruptcy in January 2003; ATK bought the remaining inventory.
